Who's Jessica?

I'm a 30 year old Advertising-IMC graduate. You can view my resume here. I take pride in my heritage as a brown-skinned Grenadian-Canadian. I love animals (cats, dogs and bats especially.) I enjoy involving myself in theatrical, creative and martial arts. I have studied martial arts in Shotokan Karate & Wing Chun Kung Fu. I pride myself in common courtesy and believe one can never stop learning. I seek out volunteer work and am always there when needed. I'm now a cosplayer and entertain people with PROheros Cosplay Ent.

During college I had the opportunity to travel on a 6 month internship at Florida State University & Walt Disney World Resort. It changed my life completely. I've made so many new friends and am continuing to learn so many new languages ever since. Who else can say they helped dress the most magical mouse on earth?

My biggest goal is to become a multi-business woman whose efforts help society. I hope to run a traveling theatre company that helps underprivileged children to learn the joy of theatre and friendship. I wish to run an allergen-free bakery/bistro and have it franchised around the world.

In a perfect world I'd wish to work at WETA Workshop for Peter Jackson, creating the most beautiful and elaborate props, set pieces and costumes that Hollywood has ever seen. But most importantly I want to help people learn and to experience life.

I love reading The Mists of Avalon series and I'm a big Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings fan. Mythology intrigues me and I enjoy learning about history. I'm very passionate against prejudice, stereotypes and all form of abuse/racism.

I have a fatal nut allergy and it is the most important thing anyone needs to know about me. It's not a joke or something to be taken lightly by family or friends. It is called a fatal allergy for a reason. Since I try to always find the positivity in life I decided to make fun of myself by calling branding myself 'the nutty marketer.' A name I find fitting to my humour and adaptable creativity. I don’t try to deter anyone from becoming or staying my friend. Only that you take the time to learn how important this is to me as you have taken the time for our friendship to become important to you in the first place. This is why I try to make light of the situation and educate other rather than blame them.
